Freelance Graphic Designer: Worked with clients to analyze their goals and translate them into successful conceptual design solutions from logos to books, brochures, and websites. Clients include: Kiehl’s since 1851, shu uemura, The Queens Museum of Art, ABC No Rio, Brook Landscape, The National Book Foundation, Continuum International Publishing Group, MayDance, May Architects, and Hummingbird Books. Graphic Designer and Assistant to the Art Department: Conceptual development, design, layout, and production on all projects that I completed, including book covers and interiors, marketing materials such as catalogs and brochures, and invitations and signage for in-store events. Utilized my strong communication skills to work in tandem with the editorial staff and external clients to develop and realize complex design solutions in a deadline-driven environment. Maintained budgets on projects completed. Production work ranging from digital editing and color correction of photography and art to preparing mechanicals for the printer, and receiving and reviewing proofs.
