DESCRIPTION: A self mailing invitation that unfolds into a poster for an exhibition of the work of the sculptor Jane South. South’s work is built from paper painted to look like industrial materials, hence the title of the show, DECEPTIVE VOLUME. The type treatment, responding to her methadology and imagery, suggests false texture and depth.
