The Interface Experience: Forty Years of Personal Computing
An exhibit about the history of computer hardware, where physical interaction with the objects was welcomed. For the visual identity we tapped into nostalgia for the early days of computing.
Swedish Wooden Toys
A history of wooden playthings in Sweden from the seventeenth to the twenty-first century. We leaned into the playful with wooden typography and animated gifs showing the toys in action.
Ex Voto NY
A web app and printed map leading a self-guided walking tour of contemporary sites of worship in New York, conceived of by the Public Programs department to contrast with an exhibition in the gallery featuring more traditional International objects of worship.
Visualizing 19th Century New York
An exhibition exploring representations of Broadway made for tourists visiting 19th century New York. The curator wanted to introduce storefronts into the exhibition and we decided to keep them minimal to maintain a link to the contemporary and to avoid interfering with the artwork.
